Joel takes P3 on promising test day at Knockhill

Joel set the third quickest time as British F4 congregated at Scotland’s Knockhill circuit on Tuesday for official testing ahead of this weekend’s races at the same venue.

Taking on the undulating track, located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, for the first time of his career, it was a promising day for Joel as he wound up just 0.01s off the ultimate pace – while topping the leaderboard on the list charting ideal lap times (combining all personal best sectors).

“It’s been a really good day,” says Joel. “My first time here at Knockhill, and it’s a fun track to drive. Especially the chicane at the back – you literally can’t see anything but the sky driving in! I feel like the changes we made towards the end of the weekend at Oulton Park are really paying off. I’m able to carry a lot more speed into the corners, so I’m pretty confident heading into the races here this weekend.”
